Septic Cleaning

Septic Cleaning Services

Homes, cottages and businesses that are not on a municipal sewage system use their own septic system. This system consists of a tank and a leaching bed or tile bed. A septic system is privately owned and by law, you are responsible for its safe operation. We know your septic system can often be the last thing you think about, but what many people don’t understand is that septic systems do require consistent pumping and inspections. Make sure you have your septic tank cleaned before it’s too late!

With our wide variety of vehicles, we can go where bigger units cannot and can provide single-axle units for those tight and hard-to-reach spots!

+ How large of a tank can you pump?

We have three vacuum trucks with a 2500 gallon (11 m3), 2000 gallon (8 m3), and 1000 gallon (4 m3) capacity. We can pump septic tanks and holding tanks of all sizes. The most common tank sizes we pump are 500-1500 gallons.

+ When does my tank need to be pumped?

If you have sewage backing up into your home or your toilets are no longer flushing these are sure signs that you have a clog in your system or the septic tank is totally full. If you notice foul sewage odors from your drain field or notice water is beginning to pool up then this is also a sign your tank should be pumped and the system also needs to be inspected.

+ How often should I pump my tank?

Pumping may depend on the size of your family. A family of 4 should have their tank pumped about every 2 years. A 2-member household should be pumped every 3 years. Systems with larger families, families that use their laundry and their garbage disposals frequently should be pumped on a yearly basis. Pumping frequency may also depend on the type of system the house currently has. Regular pumping is cost effective as it extends the life of your leach field.

+ Will you be able to reach my septic tank?

Our trucks are equipped with 150' hose reels for the vacuum hose. If we can get our truck to within 150' of your septic tanks we can pump them out. If you think the distance will be further than 100', please let us know and our driver can come with hose extensions.

+ Is my property too small for your unit?

Our small and nimble 1000 gallon (4 m3) truck is capable of navigating the tightest of areas while reaching those hard-to-reach spots, making it ideal for any location!

+ Will you make a mess on my property?

No, we always try and leave zero trace of our vsit. Our trucks are new and very well maintained so we won't be leaking oil or sewage anywhere on your driveway. In cases where we need to expose the tank lids you might have some small dirt piles left over.

Costs:

Emptying a septic tank has a base cost and goes up based on the volume and level of contamination of your tank. If the tank needs to be emptied outside of regular business hours, there are additional after-hours/weekend fees. Please reach out to us for a hassle-free, no-obligation quote!
